1) The first tip is to make sure you aren’t neglecting your corners. Why not cosy up your corners? This can be easily achieved by adding a side table, floor lamp, and houseplant or hanging plants.

2) It’s time to crack open a tin of paint and create an accent wall in your living room. Accent walls are a great way to create a focal point for the eye. If you’re feeling a little indecisive and can’t choose a colour, opt for complementary colours.

3) Another quick and effective way to spruce up your space is to add some personal touches. Print and frame some of your recent photos to display around your living room. You can print your photos immediately a Boots or there are a number of apps that will deliver your prints right to your door. 4) If you’re a keen DIY-er, it might be worth considering sewing new throw pillows to revamp your space. Replacing all your pillows can get really expensive, so if you’re handy with a sewing machine its worth considering buying some fabric from a retailer and refreshing your existing pillows. Alternatively, if knitting’s more your thing, you can make a 6lb oversized yarn blanket with just your arms!
