Before even entering this gorgeous Victorian manor house in Northamptonshire, we already feel as though we have walked onto the set of a period drama. The combination of imperfect, stone brickwork and decorative foliage encapsulates the property’s outstanding character. Once inside, the large bay windows ensure that the rooms are bright and airy.

Many rooms in the house maintain a traditional feel; decorated with long, beautiful curtains, antique mirrors, feature wallpaper and chandeliers, whilst the kitchen offers a contemporary twist, with more modern furnishings, including pink units and glass ceiling lamps. You will also find working fireplaces throughout the house, stone tiled floors, original wooden floors, feature stone walls and a grand staircase.

The house also boasts an events room, ideal for wedding ceremonies, with a huge mural of a bird on the rear wall.

The property’s biggest selling point, however, has to be its outdoor space. The gravel pathway and stone pillars lead towards fields of green and a beautiful lake feature, with a decking pontoon stretching out for a unique outdoor dining experience while looking back at the impressive views of the property.

The nearest train station is Kettering, which is a 10 minute drive from the property by car with regular trains going from London's St Pancras. Although shooting at this unique location will require some travelling for London-based crews, the effort will have been more than worthwhile once you arrive!

The owners of this location are happy to take all kinds of shoots, including large-scale filming.
