Brockenhurst is a Victorian Lodge directly overlooking the New Forest.
This shoot location in Hampshire has many period features including wooden floors and wood paneling. The house is blessed with a variety of large rooms and the large windows ensure that they get plenty of natural daylight flowing through. There are a selection of working fireplaces and the kitchen diner features a lovely black and white tiled floor.
Upstairs, you will find a selection of spacious bedrooms with antique beds and wooden flooring throughout. These rooms also feature antique radiators, furniture and more working fireplaces. The bathrooms, one of which is ensuite, are light and airy with roll-top baths and wood panelling.
The exterior of the house is red brick and there is a lovely mature garden to the rear, plus a tastefully decorated courtyard garden which features grey wooden fencing and immaculate planting.
There is ample parking for people who wish to drive and the house is a 10 minute walk from Brockenhurst mainline station, which offers very frequent and fast trains to London Waterloo. The journey time by train is 90 minutes. A 5 minute walk will take you to the nearest village, where you'll find lots of cafes and sandwich shops plus a Sainsbury's and Tesco for all your lunch needs.
If you're considering travelling outside London for you next shoot, Brockenhurst is well worth the journey!
