Buchanan is a gorgeous Victorian family home with colourful upholsteries, modern furnishings and traditional decor.

Walking in, clients are introduced to the home by geometric Victorian-style tiles, sage green walls and a beautiful vintage chest of drawers. The short hallway takes you directly into the grand open-plan kitchen / dining / living area.

At the back of the room, the dining and kitchen areas await. Here you’ll find monochrome kitchen units, funky lighting fixtures and light wooden floors. In the centre sits a large kitchen island with plenty of workspace and a handy breakfast bar attached.

Through huge skylights and floor-to-ceiling bi-folding doors, plenty of natural light floods through the space, making it a great place for filming or stills shoots.

Towards the front of the space awaits the artsy living room, leading on to a sumptuous snug tucked away to the front of the property. The living area presents colourful artwork, a beautiful black fireplace and mismatched but stylish seating.

The living room and snug are physically separated by a wall and dividing doors, and visually separated through the use of contrasting palettes. Contrary to the warm and bright atmosphere of the living room, the snug presents itself in a darker, more cosy hue, supported by vintage-style furniture, velvet upholsteries, another original Victorian fireplace and verdant green bookshelves.

Clients can also find a W/C on the ground floor, proving highly practical for shoots.

Leading up by an original wooden staircase, clients will find themselves on the first floor of Buchanan, housing a bathroom, 2 bedrooms and the master ensuite.

The master bedroom stays consistent with earthy tones, making this large space one of comfort and relaxation. Here you’ll find more artwork, rustic furnishings and tall sash windows. The ensuite bathroom contrasts in theme with a more tiling, a wetroom shower and a freestanding bath.

On the second floor, you’ll find a bathroom and 2 loft-conversion bedrooms. Both bedrooms are sproused in bright colours and decor, one having a balcony view of the outside.

Back downstairs, accessed from the open-plan kitchen area, clients can access the designer south-facing garden through the bi-folding doors. Outside, a wide stone patio can be discovered, lined with plenty of potted green plants. Leading down by steps is a sunken patio with an accommodating seating area, suitable for outside dining.

Buchanan’s dynamic architecture, range of backdrops and mix of traditional and contemporary decor could make it a fantastic option for your next creative project. Enquire today to shoot at this incredible location!
