Welcome to Eco- House, 1st Option’s location home that prides itself in offering a beautiful take on sustainable Scandinavian interior design. Although the inside of the property is slick and clean, the exterior of Eco House is a Georgian fronted terrace house in South London.
The property features a neutral palette throughout, with lightly stained pinewood making up the majority of the shelving, furniture and wooden elements of this shoot location. Engineered oak floorboards run throughout the home. The contemporary kitchen is the focal space of the property and is decorated in a selection of grey panelled woods and accompanied by silver hardware. Flowing on from the kitchen is a relaxed lounge space that includes exposed brick walls, a glass ceiling and charcoal soft furnishings. The space is also scattered with simplistic accessories such as wall art, clock and a selection of houseplants that give a clean and contemporary feel.
One of Eco Houses’ most unique features is a statement pine spiral staircase that’s encased in a glass wall and complemented by hanging light bulbs and plants. If you climb the staircase you’ll find a spacious office flooded with natural light from the original period sash windows. An upholstered bench, bio-fuel fireplace and deep grey statement wall accompany the room.
The bathroom, like the rest of the property is simple and stylish in its design. With a pale grey wall, contemporary freestanding bathtub and hanging ceiling plant, the space doesn’t feel overdone or overcomplicated.
