Belt Craft is a 2600 sq ft photography and film studio near Seven Sisters. This ex-textile factory/warehouse has been stripped back to its raw elements with original wooden floors and brick work.
There are large windows providing an abundance of natural light and lots of furniture and props that are constantly updated. The space has loads of character, a separate kitchen and changing room/green room.
Located 3 minutes from Seven Sisters station, this raw and quirky space is an ideal rough blank canvas and has a variety of different textures, backgrounds and distressed walls to shoot against. For many years now, ex factory or warehouse spaces have proved very popular with clients looking for that ‘industrial’ feel and Belt Craft has been right up there in the popularity stakes. There is the original wooden floor throughout, which has been well restored.
It’s worth noting that this shoot space is on the 1st floor and is accessed by stairs, so if you’re planning to bring in large objects it would probably be worth doing a recce first to ensure it meets your needs.
All kinds of filming are possible here and it has often been used for interview-style TV programmes. It boasts all of the usual things you would expect to find in a photographic studio, such as hair and makeup area, 3 phase power, black-out blinds, clothes rail & steamer and wifi.
