Nuffield in Oxfordshire is a jaw dropping, recently converted 6500 sq ft medieval tythe barn, with exteriors of a mixture of black wood cladding, brick and flint walls.

The roof is a new contemporary 16m long glazed ridge that overlooks a large rear garden and terrace.

The main period and design features are the huge original 450 year old oak frame and then several original later ‘arts and crafts’ features including tall panelled oak doors and a very large original brick fireplace with working log burner.

The new features comprise of the steel and glass mezzanines and staircases and curved walls. Moreover, this spectacular property features new engineered oak floor boards throughout the main barn, light grey porcelain tiles in the kitchen and annexe and carpeted bedrooms of which there are five.
