Stag is a Grade II* listed mellow brick house in Richmond, London.

The house faces west and, as the front door is on the north side, the west front has a particularly uniform and well-proportioned appearance, which has earned it the nickname 'The Dolls House' locally. There are five oblong windows to each of the house's three storeys on the west front, each row becoming shorter as the building rises. Inside, the rooms - except for the kitchen - are all in their original 17th century proportions, meaning that the authenticity of the house is retained: the entrance hall, with its generous proportions and fireplace, sets the tone. Thanks to its many windows, there's an abundance of natural light.

The interior of the house has recently been carefully refurbished to preserve its period features, whilst also injecting colour and contemporary style. For example, the downstairs sitting-room is a bespoke shade of teal, with blue/white ikat curtains and squashy tonal sofas. The cool white master bedroom has a striking pop of colour in the headboard. The dining-room has a mid-century pendant lamp which sets off the handpainted silk chinoiserie wallpaper. The furniture pieces are an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique.
