Bell House is a large Georgian period property, mostly unfurnished.

This South London shoot location has large rooms with many original features and has a lovely mature garden.

The minimalist feel inside makes it an interesting choice for clients looking to arrange furniture shoots, with plenty of differing rooms available. The interior is full of Georgian features including wood panelling, sash windows , French doors, fireplaces and parquet flooring.

The gardens are large and mature and have a distinct ‘country house’ feel, with beautiful trees and shrubbery, covered walkways, secluded seating areas and well-kept lawns.

The house is close to North and West Dulwich stations and there are some great local eateries close by for food and snacks, including Gail’s Bakery. Outside on the street you will find unrestricted parking for your crew.

Unfortunately, animals are not permitted at this location, neither is large-scale filming, although small-scale filming is fine.

The Georgian period of house building ranges from 1714 to 1830 and derives its name from the reigns of Georges I-IV. Similar style houses can also be found which were built from 1830 to 1837, during the reign of King William.

Typical Georgian style will feature symmetry in its building style with matching door and window placement, will be built using brick, stone or stucco and will often feature dormer windows at roof level.
