Introducing Ripple, a distinctive four-storey, canal-side home in East London. Formerly an office, the building has been reimagined as a three-bedroom residence, defined by its interplay of light, timber and open living spaces.

A series of interconnected living areas unfold around a central, sculptural wooden staircase. A mezzanine level overlooks the lounge below, featuring light wooden flooring and an abundance of houseplants. A metal grid walkway leads to French doors opening onto a juliet balcony framing views of the canal.

The main living area continues the sense of openness with tiled walls, soft sheer curtains and heavier velvet drapes. A large green sofa anchors the space, while bifold doors that open onto another juliet balcony, further connecting the interior to the canal beyond.

Adjacent, the kitchen and dining areas can be configured as either open or enclosed, using integrated wooden wall dividers. The kitchen is centered around a vibrant green tiled island, complemented by custom cherry wood cabinetry by Lozi and sculptural lighting.

Bedrooms are arranged across the upper and lower levels, each continuing the home’s material palette with built-in wooden cabinetry and curated contemporary artwork.

Throughout greenery brings life into the space, softening the architecture and reinforcing the connection between interior and exterior spaces.
