Fig is a quirky and unusual ground floor flat in Kensal Green. The exterior of the property at the front is unassuming, but inside the main door is a terracotta hallway with a green statement lampshade. Beyond this is a hallway lined with green walls and soft pink high ceiling (which is found throughout). Beyond this, you’ll find original Victorian tiling that leads to the open plan kitchen/ living area, which is also finished in the same green and pink paint.

The living space is zoned with a crushed velvet sofa, a large pink neon sign and features parquet flooring. Bi-folding doors keep the space airy and bright and look out to the back garden. This is adorned with a beautiful weeping willow, a well kept lawn, a burnt orange shed and decking complete with a pergola and a bronze disco ball.

The first bedroom is a tranquil blue space with crushed velvet soft furnishings and a statement shell bed. The second bedroom (used as an office space) has a moody private members club vibe, finished with Brinjal paint. Mustard and gold tones elevate the space and a grey sofa bed softens the room. Both bedrooms have ceiling roses and fireplaces that are now painted alcoves.

The bathroom is finished with bright coral wand clean lines of black grout; complete with rainfall shower and bath.
