Originally built in 1963 for golf writer and broadcaster Henry Longhurst, Jack's Windmill was reconfigured and rebuilt by award winning architects Featherstone Young in 2016. This Sussex shoot location retains its original mid-century glamour while being a luxurious and fully updated family home. The house won two awards in the RIBA South East Awards 2017, including a Conservation Award.

From the main living room and terrace, and the upper floor snug, you'll enjoy panoramic views across the Sussex weald and sensational sunsets.

The extensive gardens include a walled garden with outdoor dining space, wood-burning pizza oven, rope swings for the children and a fruit orchard.

The Granary building houses a double-height entertaining space with Steinway grand piano perfect for musical evenings, parties and dinners.

The main house includes five bedrooms: one superking double, one kingsize double, two children's bedrooms each sleeping four in bunkbeds, and one single room. Bedrooms share two family bathrooms - one shower, one shower-over-bath. All bedrooms have beautiful vistas onto the garden or towards the windmill itself.
